Kicking off the week with some big news, Xbox has announced its Gamescom 2021 plans, which include a dedicated stream filled with in-depth updates, Xbox Game Pass news and more.
Ahead of Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, Xbox will host its own warm-up stream on August 24 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST via YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Gaming and Twitter. Hosted by Parris Lilly and Kate Yeager, the show will be filled with updates on upcoming Xbox games, along with Xbox Game Pass titles.
You’ll get in-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases to our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, and much more.
Not only that, but along with Gamescom Opening Night Live and Xbox's own stream, Bethesda will also be hosting Bethesda MainStream for several days from August 26. Details are thin on what the shows will contain, but you can tune in via the company's German Twitch channel.
There can't possibly be any more, right? Wrong! An Xbox Gamescom sale will also be taking place with up to 75% off select titles. After the busy E3 period, Xbox is showing no signs of slowing down, and it should be a good show.

From the description it sounds like the Gamescom stream will be like E3's "Xbox Games Showcase Extended" and then Opening Night Live has some new announcements.
I'd also guess Infinite campaign is saved for Opening Night Live.
I just want to see some updates for The Gunk and Scorn, both Xbox exclusives coming this year that Microsoft didn't even touch upon at E3.
@LtSarge I think they may show up at tomorrow's indie showcase.
Will be tuned in and watching, looking forward to it as I see in house AAA studio games finally taking off.
Already confirmed no new game reveals or any major surprises, sounds like it's going to be an update on games shown at E3
Nice, Looking forward to it.. Should be a good show.
Excited to watch but not expecting anything major. Should be a great time nonetheless!
@SplooshDmg I really really hope so
I’m thinking they might date Halo here .
@UltimateOtaku91 are you feeling better?
@mousieone I am feeling better but my partner is currently in a coma and on a ventilator so haven't really been able to concentrate on gaming. Thank you for asking though 🙂
@UltimateOtaku91 wow, I echo @SplooshDmg sentiments. I really hope things get better quick for you and yours.
Phil enters stage right, announces Forza Motorsport for this holiday season, drops the mic and exits stage left. Gameplay trailer plays in the background as he walks off.
Looks like Xbox sticking with Parris as a host. Good call!
Compulsions game? Perfect dark? Avowed? Fable? Hyped for sure. Can't wait to whatever they have.
