Good news for Warframe fans! Digital Extremes announced this weekend as part of TennoCon 2021 that the game will be getting cross-play and cross-save support across all platforms later this year, including a new mobile port.
In a press release, Digital Extremes CEO Sheldon Carter had the following to say:
“Community is incredibly important to us. Opening up cross-play and cross-save is just one of many more efforts we’ll take on to bring more players together including extending Warframe’s fast, fluid, action combat experience to other global gaming platforms.”
Don't forget that Warframe is now also optimised for Xbox Series X and Series S, so if you haven't played it in a while, you can take advantage of up to 4K resolution at 60fps with new dynamic lighting, faster loading times and more.
There's no specific date for Warframe's cross-play / cross-save integration just yet, but hopefully it's not too far away.

Do a lot of people still play this game? I remember first playing it on ps4 at launch
I assumed there had been cross-play and cross-progression in Warframe for years already. Shows what I know.
I've tried to get into Warframe a few times but find it kind of boring. Maybe it's more fun in a group
I'm interested to see how it'll work since the pc version is getting updates prior to the console versions.
