Update: Vampire The Masquerade - Swansong has since been pushed to May 19th, 2022.
You can check out the latest RPG trailer for the game above.
Original story: Not to be mistaken with with Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, the spin-off Vampire The Masequrade - Swansong has been pushed from its 2021 release window to February 2022.
For those who are unversed, Vampire The Masequrade - Swansong is a narrative-driven RPG in which you'll control one of three vampires. It's said to offer a lot of options in terms of playing stealthily, or using your charms to make your way through numerous situations. As with other RPGs, your actions will define your path, causing consequences.
Play as 3 vampires who are over a hundred years old. Progress through the game through their intertwined destinies, deal with their different points of view and use their character sheets to try to separate the truth from the lies.
Each character has their own abilities and vampiric disciplines that you can upgrade individually to suit your preferred approach. Will you choose intimidation, seduction or stealth? It's your decision, as long as you can sate your Hunger for blood.
As for the main game in the series, Bloodlines 2, it was delayed indefinitely earlier this year and given over to a new developer. Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of the project, but no new developer was announced at the time.
It seems the spin-off will launch ahead of the fully fledged sequel, and it looks to be an interesting RPG for fans of games such as Vampyr.

I'm so confused by this series. Bloodlines 2 was delayed indefinitely, then this popped up out of nowhere.
But a nice mood trailer regardless and a narrative-driven RPG with branching paths and consequences sounds right up my alley. Need to see some gameplay to really hook me though.
