Ubisoft has finally treated us to a first look at its upcoming Avatar game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - a next-gen exclusive title arriving in 2022 - so that means Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and not Xbox One.
Built on the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, the beautiful first look gives us a glimpse at the world of Pandora. It's said to be "an immersive, open world experience", filled with all the beauty and danger the planet is known for.
In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.
The Ubisoft Forward presentation for E3 2021 introduced us to a ton of projects. We received some release dates for Rainbow Six Extraction and Riders Republic, as well as DLC updates on games such as Watch Dogs: Legion.
There's plenty on the horizon!
What do you think of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? Let us know in the comments below.

This was such a weird thing to close on.
Like I know Avatar made a bajillion dollars but were they expecting this reveal to have the pull of something like Spider-Man for PS4 when it was announced? I thought Avatar mostly got big off of the effects and the usage of 3D but those fads kind of wore off eventually
This feels like the kind of thing I would've been interested in around maybe 2010 or 2011
I'm pumped for this game, I think this game has GOTY nominee written all over it..
Avatar is such a weird IP. The movie made an insane amount of money, and yet almost no-one ever talks about it. It made like no cultural impact at all.
Oké, this looks interesting. Will be keeping my eyes open.
Dang I thought this was a new Avatar game from Nickelodeon.
CGI Trailer looks stunning - see how well the game play holds up when its shown.
Makes sense an Avatar game would come out with the Sequels coming soon and the settings visuals are pure eye-candy so perfect for a video game...
Hope you can kick the RDA completely off the planet.
This will have more of an impact next year 2022 when Avatar 2 comes out in cinemas now it just seems like 10 years too late
still looks a cool game though i will play it
