You may or may not remember Bright Memory: Infinite being revealed as an Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S console exclusive last year, but maybe this trailer will jog your memory. The fast-paced FPS is set to hit the two systems at some point later this year, and this new look at the game is as promising as ever.
In case you're unaware, Bright Memory: Infinite is an intense FPS focused on both shooting and melee combat. You'll be battling through gorgeous stages with both your guns and sword, as you shoot and slice your way to victory. Not only that, but you also have a few powers at your disposal to push back and throw enemies around. It's very fast-paced, and the trailer does an excellent job of portraying that.
Some stunning screenshots were also released ahead of this reveal and do an excellent job showcasing how beautiful the game looks. If you can't wait for its yet-to-be-announced 2021 release date, be sure to check out the original game, Bright Memory 1.0, which is currently available on the Microsoft Store. It's short and sweet, but cheap as chips - so a great way to at least get an idea of whether you'll be interested in Infinite.

The first reveal piqued my interest but this - and the review of Bright Memory hasn't helped increase that interest. With many other games announced and/or shown since this was revealed, its not surprising that 'some' games have disappeared from 'public' discussions.
I don't see much talk or mention of other games announced in May/July 2020 - like Scorn, the Gunk (both expected this year), Warhammer: Darktide, CrossfireX etc - all announced to be 'exclusive' (timed or otherwise) to Xbox too
Shadow warrior 2.5?
@BAMozzy Still intrigued by this but hoping they put the trailer up in 4K. On some of those games youve mentioned I think Gunk and Scorn got mentioned in the graphic as gamepass this year we may see or hear more in the follow up video starting now. Im wondering if darktide and crossfirex have slipped(although as I understand the latter is a PC shooter popular in eastern markets you may find it is promoted heavily there?)
Looks fantastic, am I right is saying the dev team is tiny for this?
@S1ayeR74 Yes it was just one dev. I imaging he's getting some help from Xbox now.
But I played Bright Memory and it was... pretty awful to play, so hopefully he's learnt a lot. Still looks super impressive!
@themightyant For a one man band it's an incredible achievement, hope Microsoft help teach him how to make the gameplay better. I've never played the original but will grab this for sure.
@S1ayeR74 It IS an incredible achievement and it LOOKS amazing. We all have to learn somewhere, he's just doing it on the public stage which is super bold, but possibly also foolhardy.
Regardless wish him luck and hope it's better than my expectations which are mid-low based on Bright Memory.
I am not into shooters. But this looks pretty awesome.
