Hades was a great surprise announcement during Xbox's E3 Showcase - especially with the added bonus that it will be hitting Xbox Game Pass when it launches on August 13. Now we have some of the technical details for the game, revealing the resolutions and frame rates for both last and current-gen systems.
It appears the Xbox Series X|S versions will run at 4K with a target frame rate of 60FPS throughout. As for Xbox One owners, they'll still get that target of 60fps, but with a lower resolution of 1080p.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Hades run at 1080p at a target 60 frames per second. The Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions run at 4K at a target 60 frames per second.
The most interesting point is the Xbox Series S version reaching 4K, 60fps. Developer Supergiant Games doubled down on this statement on Twitter when asked about the console's specific resolution and frame rate.
This is great news, and the team is clearly working to push the Xbox Series S as much as they can. 4K, 60fps something other games such as Ori and the Will of the Wisps have managed to achieve on the lesser-powered system, so it's awesome to see another title added to the roster.
Hades became a huge hit last year, winning multiple game awards. Xbox fans have been asking for this for a long time, and now we won't have to wait much longer.

That’s cool that the series s can get 4K 60 FPS.
Xbox One and PS4 versions are gonna be the same as the switch version when docked. When docked, the switch also hits 1080p 60 FPS
I hope they can consistently hit the 60 fps target on Xbox Series S, otherwise I'd rather have it capped at 30 fps.
Resident Evil Village with Ray Tracing on feels very janky on the series S with the frame rate all over the place between 30 and 60 fps. RT off was a much smoother and more pleasant experience.
My slightly below midrange laptop with a 6gb 1060 can run this at 4k locked 60 so Series S and X should be a lock with room to spare. Awesome game.
Amazing game but surely this performance should be an absolute given on Series X and S.
One of the best rogue lites I’ve ever played. Can’t recommend it enough. Quality-wise it’s right up there with Dead Cells, Gungeon….all the good ones
@John117 I don't think my TV supports that.
