It's been a long time coming, but the popular Rust has finally made its way onto Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S today! It's available both digitally and physically, retailing at £39.99.
Rust entered early access on PC all the way back in 2013, before finally making a full launch in 2018. It's often considered one of the most popular PC titles, with its multiplayer only gameplay. Players must survive in the harsh open-world, collecting resources and ensuring they're fed and watered. The only problem is the world is filled with vicious wildlife and other players, who could end you at a moment's notice. It's this constant tension which has had players returning over the years.
The only aim in Rust is to survive.
To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town.
Do whatever it takes to survive.
Will you make friends while you try to survive? Or attack those who stand in your way? Rust is full of moral dilemmas such as this, making for one of the most unique multiplayer games out there. It'll be interesting to see how the Xbox community embraces this game.
