For those who are interested in Zombie Army 4: Dead War, developer Rebellion has revealed that the game will also be getting a free Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S upgrade when it joins Game Pass on April 8th. Awesome!
In addition to the new titles, three games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 15th including the much-loved Deliver Us The Moon, and seven older sports games will be leaving EA Play on April 16th from the Madden and NHL series'.
Happy with this selection? Surprised about GTA V? Let us know down in the comments.

I think it's good to know that games that have appeared on Game Pass before can return to the service in the future. Because one of the main criticisms of Game Pass is that third-party titles do have to leave eventually, but knowing that there's a possibility that they might return is reassuring to some degree at the very least.
Ah, if only they "fps boosted" GTA V...
@LtSarge if it's anything like renewing rights for streaming video/on demand services it's really hard to do that. I imagine most of these 3rd party games probably don't have much of a notice before they come back to gamepass. A lot of times these deals are made on the fly.
@helbertpina No chance unfortunately because it's getting an official next-gen upgrade in the second half of this year.
Can I reserve the GTA 5 upgrades that will appear in 2027 and 2034 yet?
Wow who doesn't own gta V by now lol suppose I will give the online mode a try on my phone
@UltimateOtaku91 Me. I’m one of the weirdos who has never played a Grand Theft Auto game before. I can’t wait to give GTAV a try.
@LtSarge Do you think The Medium will ever leave? I don't have a Series X yet.
@UltimateOtaku91
I have never played GTA5 and I won't. Even with it making a comeback to Game Pass. I just got tired of this series after 4. I was actually hoping for Disneyland Adventures to come to console. My daughter would love it and she recently got into gaming with Super Lucky's Tale and Peggle 2
@Snake_V5 It's hard to tell. Even though it's an Xbox console exclusive, Microsoft doesn't own the IP so it's not a first-party title. So it could definitely leave eventually, although considering that it's a digital-only release (for now) and that it's only available on Xbox in terms of consoles, I don't think it will leave any time soon since they want as many people as possible to play it. Not to mention that it's a Series X/S exclusive, which means an even smaller audience. So logic dictates that they would want to keep it on the service for as long as possible, but it's not guaranteed.
Rain on Your Parade looks essentially like "Untitled Stormcloud Game"
@SegataSanshiro
Huh? I thought the version on Game Pass is a demo of sorts. Might have to check it again. Thanks!
I funny this selection funny this month Zombie Army 4: Dead War is free for PlayStation Plus this month too meanwhile. MLB The Show 21 is free for gamepass but not free anywhere else lol
Yay - been waiting for an open world to get into after losing The Witcher3 10 hours into it last month. Was about to start Yakuza 0 (just downloaded it yesterday) but will hold off for GTAV as don't imagine it will be on Game Pass for long. Probably be there for 2 weeks so everyone is half way through and will need to buy it to continue! Really hope not though...
@StonyKL
Probably more like 3 months tops lol
@Handy_Man neither have I! Generally played Nintendo until the last year, so lots of catching up to do on the likes of GTA etc.
I'm just listening to the double barrel gaming podcast from yesterday and in it they mentioned that there is a waiting list for developers to get their games into gamepass... people really want a slice of that unsustainable pie.
@Snake_V5
Probably won't leave for quite a long while, as Blair Witch is still in Game Pass, and that was also a timed exclusive from the same developer. That came out in August 2019, so I think you're good.
@Zochmenos
Yeah, I prefer likeable or at least relatable characters in games. GTA5 has neither as far as I know.
@FraserG Shame, really...
Ok, I'll say it : I'm one of the three people on earth who have NEVER EVER played GTA V. Or any GTA game, by the way.
And I just finished a game last night (Gears 4). I wanted to play something different before going with Gears 5.
So I think now is the time to educate myself and to finally see why this damn game is one of the most successfull of all time.
@Deadcow
It's kind of hard for me to enjoy a game when I find the characters difficult to relate to or even slightly likeable. To me, Sleeping Dogs is way better than any GTA game.
@Deadcow
I've played through SD 3 times Twice on PC and once on PS4. Now I see it's heavily discounted on Xbox 🤔 As for the sequel, it was in the works but the first build got scrapped and they renamed it to Triad Wars and wanted it to be a multiplayer romp. Karma got them, though, and the game never saw the light of day while the devs went bankrupt.
@Deadcow
Ditto 😁 Triple dipping is not what I usually do, but this is an exception(al game).
