Every now and again, Xbox boss Phil Spencer will recommend a game he's been playing - that isn't Destiny 2. Recently, the big man has been diving into Lost Words: Beyond The Page, which he has championed on social media.
Taking to Twitter, Spencer shared his thoughts on Lost Words, saying "it's really a special game". He praised its "fantastic atmosphere, writing and mechanics", and recommended we all check it out.
Lost Words: Beyond The Page is an extremely stylistic game, which takes place within journal pages. As expected with that premise, it creates some unique situations such as platforming on literal words within the page. It's also said to have a very emotional and resonating story, so we recommend probably having some tissues at the ready for its narrative, which is written by the award-winning former Mirror's Edge and Tomb Raider writer, Rhianna Pratchett.

I would like to check it out. Come on Phil get this added to GamePass!
Looks absolutely fantastic, glad to see Xbox throwing some support to this game!
...And I bought the game... I’ll check it out after work.
@awp69 Just buy it.
After watching the trailer, sold... I'll likely buy it at some point this week, and will hopefully end up giving a big thanks to Phil for recommending it. I appreciate the fact that it seems to be very original. I don't see why I won't end up loving it, but still, I obviously have to actually play it first..
