If you're a keen PlayStation fan as well as Xbox, you might have seen yesterday that veteran game creator Jade Raymond revealed on the PlayStation Blog that she has started a new indie development studio called Haven.
And while it seems as though the developer's first game is coming to be some kind of PlayStation exclusive, Xbox boss Phil Spencer took to Twitter yesterday to congratulate Raymond on the new studio.
Raymond is famous for helping create the likes of the Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs franchises, and was most recently heading Google Stadia's first-party studios before they were surprisingly shut down last month.
It'll be interesting to see what Haven comes up with, and whether we can expect to see the IP on Xbox in some fashion eventually, but it's nice to see the head of Xbox congratulating Raymond regardless. We'll keep an eye on this!
What are your thoughts on Raymond's new studio and IP? Let us know in the comments.

Phil Spencer, building bridges between consoles and compulsive user of the word "gaming" at E3 conferences since 2014
No seriously I'm interested in where this new studio goes. Hopefully it's another success story with PlayStation like Kojima Productions
I had no idea who this was until reading this. And I guess it makes sense as I don't enjoy Assassin's Creed or Watch Dogs lol.
She was a big name for awhile, but since joining EA and then Google, she hasn't actually put out a game, has she? (through no fault of her own)
Phil is a class act
@Carck It's more divisive than any other Kojima game since MGS2 but still not nearly to the extent of most AAA games
It still got a pretty positive reception from both critics and fans and hasn't done enough to damage his rep. It's also just a cool comeback story after his relationship with Konami was soured
I personally thought the "game" part of it was tedious but I enjoyed the narrative and that's ultimately what I look for in a Kojima game
Phil classy as always..
@Carck Which is why I said "hopefully"
As in, I hope Sony treats this new studio right and the collaboration ends up producing something successful
@TheFrenchiestFry DS is probably Kojima's worst game so I disagree. Haven't played it but the game looks boring to me.
Phil Spencer very classy as always.
Hope Jade can put out a game this time. Just seems to have gone downhill for her since she left Ubisoft.
Also, sounds like the staff consist of a lot of the fired Stadia devs, so good for them getting a new job so quickly.
@LiterallyDoNotCare
"Probably Kojima's worst game"
"I haven't played it"
And there goes your cred
@TheFrenchiestFry
Haven't played mgs1-4 neither lol.
I'm basing it off scores and overall reception by the community and % of completion. It's a very boring LOOKING game.
I'm not spending money to know getting shot hurts.
With an indie budget I'm not expecting much, honestly. But anything Jade Raymond is exciting. She's still the only one that truly "got" what was good about AC.
@TheFrenchiestFry That's the best summary of Kojima and the finest explanation of why his games are a disaster. "Well the gameplay sucks but the movie is great!"
He's one chili dog away from inventing Sonic the Hedgehog.
@NEStalgia I only said the gameplay was tedious and this also definitely isn't the case for any other game he's been involved in
MGS3 and 5 in particular have some of the best interwoven and immersive gameplay mechanics I've ever experienced in an action game period
@TheFrenchiestFry 3, I'll give you. Starting with 4 he started going way off the rails, and just hasn't slowed down. And 5....I try not to think about 5.
