Update: Rust Console Edition has now officially been announced as arriving on May 21, 2021!

Original story: It was announced earlier this week that the much-anticipated Rust Console Edition would finally be dropping on Xbox One in Spring 2021, and now we've got some actual Xbox gameplay footage to share.

The video above showcases six minutes of uncut gameplay from Rust Console Edition on Xbox One X, giving us an idea of what to expect when it lands. Keep in mind that the game won't be getting an Xbox Series X upgrade.

Some lucky Rust fans are already playing the game on Xbox as part of a closed beta, and developer Double Eleven says there will be more chances to get involved in the near future, with the aim of the Beta to test out server stability.
