Bloober Team has announced some exciting news for collectors, as both Xbox Series X titles, The Medium and Observer: System Redux, are getting physical releases in collaboration with Koch Media.
There's no release date for these boxed games, but according to a press release seen by Gematsu, it is part of a "worldwide publishing partnership" to bring the team's titles to life in a physical form.
With the partnership deal, it seems to suggest future Bloober Team games could be making the jump to physical along with their digital counterparts. Its next project sounds like a big one, as the studio has already revealed it is working with a "very famous gaming publisher", which we're definitely very intrigued about.
Will you be picking up a physical edition of either game? Let us know in the comments below.

How about we get System Redux on Game Pass?
I've been waiting for this announcement.
@Medic_Alert
It's supposed to be a throw-back to the classic Resident Evil/Silent Hill games with the fixed camera angles and control scheme.
I quite enjoyed it, although the dual world could have been used a lot more.
I'm going to have to try and cut a slot in my Series S so I can play the disc versions.
I’ve already finished The Medium on Game Pass, I enjoyed it for what it was but I’m definitely glad I played it through Game Pass rather than buying it at full price. I was hoping Observer: System Redux was going to be in the up-coming Spring Sale but now with this news I think I’ll wait and see if it will be added to the game rental service I use or for it to be added to Game Pass.
Double dipping time, I guess
Personally, I loved The Medium but it's a one and done kind of game for me. Thankfully, I had that opportunity on Game Pass. As for the negative comments about controls- try playing Blair Witch if you think The Medium is janky.
This is the story I've been waiting for. With the recent rumors about the PS3/PSP/Vita stores closing and servers going offline, it's never been more important for people to buy physical.
A Layers of Fear Collection would be greatly appreciated.
