Sadly, Gotham Knights Has Been Delayed Until 2022

As much as i really want to play this game right this second... I prefer when companies push games out to give extra time to finish them. Nothing worse than a broken game that could have used a couple extra months or even a year of extra development and fine tuning.

Unfortunately it’s gonna be that type of year.
Not sure if this was cross generation, if so they have to get it to work on all platforms etc and then Covid.
What we really want is a game just for the series consoles, so the developer can focus on just those the s and x formats.

I hope this game is story first and has mission design etc similar to the arkham games not some crap like the avengers game

Big bummer for me. The one game I was most looking forward to. Obviously, more dev time is going to make for a better game, so that's good - still stings a little, though. Hopefully the Aliens game will still come out this summer, to play in the meantime.

I'm struggling to see how this game can be better or even that much different than Arkham Knight.

Dang. Not going to lie, but I am disappointed. Especially after watching Justice League last night...

I'm fine with Nintendo delaying games, so I'm fine with WB delaying games. This is even less painful since we didn't have a concrete release date, anyway. I wish people would apply this consistency and logic more often...

As long as it's not a live service game they can take as long as they need

I was expecting 2021 to be a fairly quiet year with the ongoing pandemic and adjusted/restricted working practices.

Covid still impacting development timelines. To be expected.
