Square Enix has announced as part of its first "Square Enix Presents" event that in addition to a brand-new Life is Strange game, a Life is Strange Remastered Collection is also arriving on Xbox consoles later this year.
The collection will feature remastered visuals and animation from both the original Life is Strange as well as Life is Strange: Before The Storm, along with updated and refined gameplay puzzles, engine upgrades and more.
As mentioned, Life is Strange Remastered Collection will be available at some point in 2021, and it'll also be included free as part of the Ultimate Edition for the newly announced Life is Strange: True Colors this September.

I actually just finished playing the original yesterday. I played the pre-sequel before and I think it's best to experience the story in that order. I actually prefer Before the Storm, thought it was definitely the better game. It wasn't reliant upon any time gimmicks and it felt like it did a better job of making my choices have a real impact. It's definitely the best game DONTNOD made IMO, wish the rest of the series was more like that.
@CrazyJF you're right, I just assumed DONTNOD made every game in the series. Apparently Deck Nine is making the new True Colors entry in the series, so I guess I'll have to check that out, I seem to prefer their work.
I bought these games twice, first on ps4 then on XBox... now i got to buy them again... 😔
These remasters better be Series X optimized 4k/60!
