Looking forward to the remake of 1994's System Shock? The game is officially arriving on PC in late Summer 2021, with a new demo available now on the platform, but the Xbox release will have to wait just a little bit longer.
As highlighted by Gematsu, Nightdive Studios director of business development Larry Kuperman told the outlet that the console versions are definitely on the way, and they hopefully won't be too far apart from PC:
“Yes, and hopefully (damn) close with the PC launch.”
When it arrives, the game is set to offer updated mechanics, enemy A.I and graphics, allowing a new generation of players a chance to go toe-to-toe with one of gaming's iconic enemies: SHODAN.
We'll keep you updated on the progress of the System Shock remake when we hear more!

Yes! I was hoping this would come to Xbox! I wasn't sure my mediocre PC would be able to handle it properly. Very happy to see this, especially right after that extremely underwhelming State of Play presentation.
At last, something I'm looking forward to. Let's hope it turns out good. Just had an email from the GoG website saying it's available to pre-order @ £31.99
This is amazeballs!
Loved the original (has not aged well), and the sequel!!! Definitely picking this up!
