Numskull Games has announced today as part of its Numskull Presents virtual showcase that arcade first-person shooter sequel RICO London will be coming to Xbox platforms this June.
The game is a sequel to 2019 Xbox One title RICO, and takes place on New Year's Eve 1999. It sees you taking on a group of gangsters who are "threatening to bring down the entire capital".
RICO London will be playable either solo or in split-screen co-op as demonstrated in the video above, and features procedurally generated levels, which should ensure the game remains continually fresh!

I sincerely believe procedural generation will become an important trend in gaming in the next few years, but I think it needs variety to work well. Rico — the first one — only featured apartment breaching and gun fights. It was fun, but I often found myself wanting more, eg: hostage stand-offs, foot chases, locating evidence, witness protection, etc. Still, I enjoyed the first one, especially as a game to for a quick split-screen multiplayer session, and will definitely check out the sequel.
looks great! can't wait
