Poll: How Would You Rate This Year's Xbox Games With Gold?

April... Because we're all fools for paying for the service at this point.

I joke. Knights of Pen and Paper and Fable Anniversary are just really good games.

Compared to what was offered on PS Plus this year, games like Fall Guys, Bioshock Collection, Street Figher V, Hollow Knight etc... Games with Gold wasn't nearly good enough. Thank goodness for gamepass though!

My first Gold subscription ever was in September and so I quickly grabbed Tom Clancy's The Division (loved the PS4 version) and Maid of Sker...only 2 for me this year.....convert to Game Pass already please, or start offering AAA titles at least once in awhile please

I'm absolutely new to Xbox - only getting my 1st console in March this year , having had a switch for a couple of years. Before the switch I had a ps4 and generally the games with plus we're ok (especially Indies) - the games with gold selection has been atrocious as a new owner.

However, Gamepass has absolutely exceeded my expectations for value and I'd much rather that as a service. It feels they are pivoting from gold to just Gamepass.

Its an absolute waste of time and resources for x box with game pass avaliable.

Just make online free and be done with this.

Game Pass Ultimate: I don't even think of this as Game Pass + Gold. I honestly think about this as Game Pass + Cloud Gaming + EA Play + Those Random Perks. That's the value I'm getting out of it.

Games with gold have not been great this year.
But game pass is where it is at, especially if you have never been with Xbox before and have a big back catalogue of games.

Where's the "none of the above" option?

They need to retire games with gold..

@Bmartin001 I am pretty sure they are. They took away the one year gold subs and have been talking about ending the service so I imagine it's days are numbered. That said I still like the games I get off it, especially the 360 games that I can keep as non-subscription games, but there is no denying how Game Pass has made the sub games a bit redundant.

Anyone complaining the games were rubbish, just remember they’re free. There were some poor games yes but I only downloaded games I know I’d enjoy.
Lego Indiana Jones was one of the best for me

It wasn't until Aug that Xbox fixed their backwards compatibility issue. Before then I wasn't able to d/l 360 or anything older. September was the best month as all 4 games were interesting

I voted January and overall a C. Its been an OK year.

I feel that GWG gets too much criticism, it is a nice add on to a subscription that I gladly paid for years and received zero games, so I think its still a very nice deal. I always claim the games, actually have done since the first month, so I have a massive library. How can I complain about that?

Yes Gamepass is much better, but this is a different service and I hope they keep the games coming, especially the 360 games which are ours to keep anyway.
