A new location for Hitman 3 has been revealed, as well as a detailed look at the game's Glacier engine.

IO Interactive has dropped the first details for the new area, which is known as Chongqing. The neon soaked streets of Chongqing are beautifully orchestrated through the Glacier engine, which the team says will be used throughout the whole trilogy.

While not much else is shown within the trailer outside of the environment, the new lighting effects, dense population of NPCs, and tightened character animations really show off how IO Interactive has improved the latest instalment.

Hitman 3 is said to be the darkest entry yet and will flip player expectations when it releases early next year, and the latest look at Chongqing seems to support that.
