Cast your mind back to around a month ago, and you might remember that Microsoft provided a range of printable paper models for both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, allowing you to determine how they'd fit in your home.
Now, the Xbox team in Germany has gone one step further, putting together a neatly designed 'Papercraft Kit' for the Xbox Series X that includes a cardboard version of that printable model.
You can check out German site Xbox Dynasty unboxing the 'Papercraft Kit' above, which is being offered with local Xbox Series X pre-orders at select retailers across the nation while stocks last.
There's no suggestion about whether these kits will also be supplied outside of Germany prior to launch, but given the effort that has gone into the design, we wouldn't be surprised to see them cropping up elsewhere.
What do you think of this idea? Liking the packaging? Give us your thoughts in the comments.

20 years time we'll be reading an article (or having it beamed directly into the knowledge venture of the brain) of one of these selling for 1,000,000
I see these winding up on ebay and being mistaken for the real console. Some kids are going to end up with cardboard consoles for Christmas.
@Mckilmer lol yeah this is a bad idea. Gona be a few angry folks as a result.
It is very cute. It would be a genius move to market these in Japan as they love and respect origami.
