Poll: Are You Happy With October 2020's Xbox Games With Gold?

Not really, This is a bad month for games with gold..

People wanting to put this out of its misery are kind of shooting themselves in the foot. You're essentially asking for less from MS, even if you subscribe to GP Ultimate. Don't ask for less. Never do that.

Smh why is nobody happy that Costume Quest?

Other then that game, this is pretty crummy.

Costume Quest would be the only one I am mildly interested in unfortunately.

That hand over her mouth in the picture pretty much sums up my reaction to this month's offerings. 'Nuff said.

The problem is if they put super games on this service; it would detract from Gamepass. That said I wish they’d pick a better middle ground, or redo a few they’ve done but maybe people missed.

Yes, Costume Quest is a good win here.

Any month that stops me missing not having an Xbox till I get my sweaty hands on a series X is fine. Better bring their A game for November! 😄 Usually when I buy a game though it ends up on GWG. Expect Code Veronica in November then.

Y'all, if you haven't played Costume Quest, it is a gem.

They should put gold out of its misery now - and by that I also mean the Online charge that we are being blackmailed into purchasing just so we can have FULL access to a Game we have paid £50+ to play. Of course if you are getting something worthwhile back in the way of decent free games, it doesn't feel like black mail.

Game Pass too becomes a better proposition as you would have FULL access to the all the games on that service. Pretty pointless having Game Pass and not having access to ALL the games (like Sea of Thieves, Destiny etc) and they could still have an 'ultimate tier' with added benefits like EA Play, an extra Discount on sale games on some games and even 'free' games that are not limited by Game Pass - as in still playable whether they are remain on Game Pass or not.

It just seems like those who are 'forced' to buy Gold to access all content on all their games, do not have Game Pass are getting less and less value. I know its still '4 games' with a 'perceived' cost value (but they are NOT worth that as 2 come with conditions that don't come if you were to pay that price and cannot be 'traded' either so have no 'financial' value) but they are generally disappointing and not offering the same 'value' or excitement the games were 2-3yrs ago. PS+ generally excites and seems 'better' with fewer titles...

Also Game Pass and Gold are separate subscriptions and should both offer 'value' to their subscribers - whether you want one or both. One should NOT affect the other - even if some may well have both.

May as well do away with Gold altogether - no charge for online, no free games, no 'gold' discounts. People can still opt for Game Pass and get full access to ALL the games offered or pay for Game Pass Ultimate and get a couple of 'free' games a month, discounts in store, EA Play. Not blackmailing customers to pay for Gold to have full access to games they buy and those customers feeling like they get 'very little' value for their Subscription.

I am happy for Costume Quest as that is a Double Fine game.

I got the feeling that it was going to be a decent lineup to further tempt people towards game pass ultimate and 'prove' how great the whole synergy etc, was better than PSN, Especially with the next gen coming up.

Costume quest is an amazing grab that really sets the Halloween mood. The others I don’t know and don’t care about.

Another bad month of Gold, free online would be better.

Maid of Sker is a must grab for me. Whether I get to it as it releases all depends on the plethora of demonspawn I must blast through in Doom: Eternal.
