It was announced back in early April that developer Bloober Team was bringing its psychological horror Observer: System Redux to Xbox Series X, and now it's been confirmed as a day one launch title.
The game is a "definitive vision" of the 2017 game Observer from the team behind Layers of Fear, and will feature immersive environments, volumetric lighting, global illumination, HDR and raytracing and much more.
Observer: System Redux will be available for £23.79/$29.99 when it releases on November 10th for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, but be aware there's no free upgrade for owners of the original.
The year is 2084. In a dark cyberpunk world shattered by plagues and wars, become a neural police detective and hack into the jagged minds of others. Make use of anything they felt, thought, or remembered to solve the case and catch the elusive killer.
Looking forward to this? Are you a fan of Observer for Xbox One? Let us know in the comments.

Nice
The next gen trailer looked awesome.
This is the game I'm looking forward to most for next gen launch on either system.
I still need to play this. My backlog is insane.
Between this and The Medium, Bloober Team is going to have a massive presence at launch.
Do we know if we get a physical edition ? Or is it all digital ? I didn't know this title, and find it looks awesome !
I've never played this game, but I've heard of it. Is it like a walking simulator game with puzzles? I tend to like those types of games.
@Bobobiwan
I think Bloober Team’s games are digital only.
@MasterkillerX
I haven’t played it either, but it looks like a sci-fi horror game. Bloober Team’s games tend to be more of the horror variety.
@KelticDevil Ok, thanks for the info ! Never mind, it looks awesome, and I want to support those kind of games.
Can't wait to play this and The Medium !
@Bobobiwan
I still need to get into Bloober Team’s games. I have heard good things about Blair Witch & the Layers Of Fear games too.
Trailer showed some impressive upgrades to the visuals - not played the original.
At that price, it'd be hard to turn it down to see some next gen goodness
Like racing games, horror games tend to be great in showing off those new next-gen graphics. Horror games rely so much on the visuals & sound to create that scary atmosphere you need.
@Bobobiwan Oh, I played Blair Witch from them and loved that game. I know they are making The Medium, but didn't know they did Observer too
Saw a video a while back comparing the upgrades. They put enough work on this that I would be in even if I already owned the original. They didn't just toss a higher res mode and tossed lights and reflections, they remodeled a ton of stuff too. It's a world of difference.
Heck, they would be justified to charge full price for this one, but not complaining about the low price.
The next gen version looks quite good though I don't really enjoy horror games. I will probably be looking for a different game as my true next gen experience.
