I'm gonna be refreshing the page like crazy..
😂 preorders in Japan. Just send that single Xbox over for that sole US resident!
So 8am BST is my time to F5 frantically then. Bring it on....
Excellent. I just realized my day off is on pre order day so guess I'm up early waiting for the website to inevitability crash. Part of the fun of getting a console at launch 🙃
I'll be at my local Gamestop. Bright and Early.
@StonyKL
That’s actually pretty funny. Well played. Lol. 👍🏻
I’m going to pre-order from either GAME or Smyths Toys with All Access but thinking of getting it from Smyths Toys because GAME is more popular and will therefore more likely to run out of pre-orders faster. It’s going to be a crazy few minutes filling the online credit application for All Access, hope I get my pre-order in in time.
I'm thinking now I may pick up the series X using the gamepass option but I'm still not in a huge rush.
Is there somewhere a full list of countries Xbox will be launching in? I'm wondering whether Xbox fill officially come to Ukraine at last... it's so sad and not fair that PlayStation is officially present in Ukraine, whereas Xbox has not been for current generation.
Remember, the difference between Series S and X is the GPU capabilities but both ray tracing and Auto HDR are hardware features so the only real difference between Series S and X is the resolution capabilities and the quality of the textures (less memory for the GPU).
Anyone concerned about resolution, textures quality and Xbox One X enhancements in backwards compatible games should shell out 200 more for Series X. People that are not that concerned about native resolution, even if they own a 4K TV, should save 200. At the end of the day, 1080p and 1440p games look good upscaled to 4K, just not as good as native 4K.
Series S would be a bit like PS4 Pro (no real 4K) and Series X like Xbox One X (real 4K) but Series S and X CPU is the same and both are better than PS5 in terms of CPU power, both are powerful machines in spite of what Jim Ryan (Sony) says.
In short, Series S will sacrifice native resolution and 4K textures because it has less GPU power than PS5 but it's not less powerful than PS5, it has a better CPU and more built-in hardware features.
So what's your choice? It's Series X for me.
Good luck to you guys tomorrow, make sure you have all your info prepopulated and saved!!
@MaccaMUFC
I will go with game or will try to at 8am.
Of course for delivery to home.
They have never let me down on day one console release before.
Just want to wish everyone good luck tomorrow with preordering 😊
if its 8am pt what would that be in central time
@BlueOcean I think I’m gonna go series s and just use it as a gamepass box and hope all games on gamepass are optimized to run wel on the series s. I’ll eventually get a ps5 so if down the line the series s just cannot hang with the latest and greatest titles being released, I’ll still have another system to play them on. But since I’m getting both Xbox and PlayStation I figured I should go the cheaper model of each.
@PuppyToucher It makes sense and I'm sure Series S will serve you well.
@redd214 Hold me.
I'm going to hit new egg and microsoft my wife is going to try Best buy and amazon hopefully we will get one series X
In Mexico and some other countries in Latin America, it’s been delayed at least a week, and now instead of November 10th, launch states just “November”.
Concerns rising about availability in the region, which would be a bad move for them with Sony launching Mexico in wave 1
Why didn't they just allow an option on the console to upgrade Gamepass rather than sending me out to faff about getting an extra gamepass from the not so local store. I really cant be bothered enough to waste my time doing that. Will wait till whenever.
