The next DLC release for Minecraft Dungeons is on the way on September 8th, along with a selection of fresh features in a free update, and even a physical release for the game on the same day.
The DLC is entitled Creeping Winter, and will bring a wintery storm to the game that threatens to consume all it touches. It will feature new missions, armour, weapons, enemies and much more, and will be included with the Hero Edition of the game, as well as (presumably) available as a standalone purchase.
As for the free update, the game will be getting new Merchants - if you save them, they will set up shop in your camp and upgrade items for you, as well as allow you to trade items with others in multiplayer. Additionally, new Daily Trials will provide fun challenges with alterations to the game's mechanics.
And finally, the retail edition of Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition will also be made available, incorporating the main game, the Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter DLC, and unique cosmetics (like a cape).
