Talking Point: What Was Your Favourite Part Of July's Xbox Showcase?

Fable for me! I am a huge fan!

Halo would come in 2nd with Avowed coming up #3.

That State Of Decay 3 teaser was pretty awesome too!

Avowed got me the most excited. Huge Elder Scrolls vibes

I'd like to say fable, but a very short pre rendered trailer doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know, and has been rumoured for about 2 years now? I was honestly hoping for a 'coming 2021' with a 'chicken chaser' reference thrown in somewhere.

For me, Avowed was what I was most excited about, having played pillars of Eternity 2. The Destiny 2 news though was the biggest surprise. From a marketing tie up with Sony, to GamePass for current and next expansions.

The Medium, that game is right up my street, the Halo Infinite gameplay looks very promising too. I will say Fable is the game I'm looking forward to most but I can't put it too because of a very short teaser. Obsidians "Skyrim" is another I'm very much looking forward to and I loved their sense of humour on the Grounded trailer

Halo was fantastic, The Medium was also extremely intriguing, and Jack Black singing just sold me Psychonauts 2.

A 1 minute trailer has almost as many votes as Halo.

I voted Avowed. Fable and Forza felt like givens, Obsidian were obviously also working on something but the reveal was cool. Can't wait to see more of it (and can't wait to start grounded next week either)

The best surprises were Fable, Avowed and Dragon Quest coming to Xbox for the first time. Also, Balan Wonderworld.

Halo looks awesome and so do many other games like Everwild, State of Decay 3, Grounded, The Medium...

I voted Avowed but could have picked STALKER 2. Fable would have been a contender had we actually got more than a min teaser and I expected more from Forza too. Halo was OK - the trailer looked as I was hoping the game would but then the game-play looked more Xbox One - a massive drop between the character modelling - even compared to some current gen games. State of Decay 3 surprised me - although it looked 'big' budget, it could be just a CGi and be a lower budget, not a step up from SoD2.

Its difficult to get 'excited' by a lot here with very little game-play shown.

Dragon Quest XI S because of the significance. Persona coming to Xbox is now a real possibility.

Halo Infinite for me, State of Decay 3 rates higly with me also. Good to see Avowed getting plenty of support in the poll also....

Forza! It's pretty much all I really cared to hear announced.

Remember kids, the DQ XI S is a port from the SWITCH version.... Not from the vanila PS4 + Add Ons....

Does the Halo 5 graphics looked better that Infinite?

@LocalPenguin there were literally 2 games in the Sony Presentation that i was interested in: I would definitely buy Ratchet and Clank, i would probably get Horizon. that was IT. for all the complaining (which is to be expected), there was TONS of stuff i want to play yesterday.

@BANJO my first thought when i saw State of Decay was : omg they gave them a real budget to make this game!! that's going to be good.

@armondo36 Aye mate, such a game could well end up being quite the gem for XBOX. Might even make Bethesda recall how they used to forge such brilliant games and change their... ah.. no....hahahahahahaha. Nevermind.

Hi there fellow gamers. For me the two games that really got me were Everwild and The Medium.
The first was gorgeous to watch, like a interactive cartoon. And the second with the Sillent Hill vibe and the dual reality gameplay mechanic? Plus Akira Yamaoka as the composer? Absolutely sold on that one. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all

It's gotta be the fact that all these games will be in GP. Most of them i would never buy and you can't rent anymore so this way i get to try them all. I don't have any last gen consoles, PS3 is what I got pre kids, so XsX is my next consol and I'm pumped to play many of the games on games pass.

I watched Gamexplain's preview stream and they wanted Fable rebooted as something Elder Scrolls or The Witcher-like. I mean, like what's wrong with them?

@gingataisen so few games have their own personalities. most games are sterilized clones of something else. Fable's unique personality is what makes it so great.
