Just in case you needed the reminder (and because we're desperate for it to arrive already), Microsoft is hosting its highly-anticipated Xbox Series X Games Showcase one week today on Thursday, July 23rd at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST. There will also be a pre-show beginning one hour earlier on YouTube Gaming.
We're sure you know by now, but the event will feature new first-party gameplay, insights from development teams being optimized for Xbox Series X and brand-new game announcements, as well as a look at Halo Infinite's campaign.
If you want more information on the event, you can check out our all-encompassing 'everything we know so far' guide, and rest assured we'll be providing live coverage with a blog (and chatroom) next Thursday, as well as catching you up on all the announcements and reveals following the showcase. I'm very excited! I'm confident they'll knock it out the park
Well, it's going to be nice to see actual game play. Maybe I shouldn't expect that, at this point...
Edit: I'm sure we'll get great game announcements, though.
Finally the E3 equivalent week, past game events has been all disappointing I hope this event will have several mic-drops.
@Z3u5000 The (virtual) E3 has been disappointing this far, it won't be difficult to beat Sony and Nintendo this year. Microsoft has a good chance π.
We're super ready!!!!
Yea I canβt wait!
@BlueOcean Absolutely I hope it goes flawlessly. π
I got my popcorn ready..
I just hope the stream quality is better that the May event. I know we'll get trailers uploaded afterwards, but there's only one chance to make a good first impression.
The funny thing is that I only used Mixer (on Xbox or on the phone) to watch E3 events so I guess I'll watch it elsewhere now.
Hyped!!!
I hope they knock me out with this reveal.
I hope killer instinct is one of them.
