The dust is now beginning to settle on today's Ubisoft Forward show, which gave us a look at the likes of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion and Far Cry 6.
If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet, you can catch the full thing over at our live blog page, and you can also check out our recap of all the reveals from the event.

I gave it a B. I feel like three things that were cool were 1, the “choose your character” aspect of watchdog legions, the audience participation in hyperscape, and thr assault system and combat of ac Valhalla.
Other than that I realized how much I generally don’t have interest in Ubisoft properties outside of AC. I won’t get any other game they showed (besides Valhalla). But I gave the presentation a B (and not lower) because I thought what they did show showed well. Just mostly not for me.
I gave it a F, absolutely awful. Hopefully Microsoft's event in 11 days is a lot better, that appears to be the next and last part of this year's replacement to E3.
C for me. After Watch Dogs it just felt as though my interest was lost and nothing could get it back. Doesn't help that the game they'd held for the end had already leaked, even if the trailer for it was interesting enough. Everything between those two, however... nothing was keeping me interested.
I gave it a B. Valhalla looked a bit more interesting than just a reskin of Odyssey and the extra 30mins breakdown too helped. Far Cry 6 is another game I could be interested in but only a CGI trailer so far.
The rest weren't really my thing and not a lot 'new' - probably solid games for those interested in those games but I can't mark them down just because they don't appeal to me. Would have liked something to push it up to an A, a big surprise new IP but without, it was just a B for me...
I'll give it a C. Some good content was shown, but a lack of surprises let it down. Plus, I think it was a mistake to not show actual gameplay for Far Cry 6.
@zane547 Not only that, but releasing Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed so close to each other doesn't make good business sense to me. Watch_Dogs needs pushing back, I think.
Far cry 6 gameplay would have been good to see.
Also all these games with series X smart delivery, don’t actually say when the series X version update is coming. Even AC does not have a series X date for the update.
It’s all a bit lame, do you hold on and wait or play. Would help if we knew how long we had to wait?
B for me, had they managed to reveal Far Cry 6 as a surprise it would had been an A.
There was stuff I didn’t care for, but I am quite hyped for Legion, Valhalla and FC6. All of these will likely be preorders for me. (Legion only if I manage to play through FC2 soon, still on my backlog.)
Probably AC and far cry for me, that will enough with the usual Christmas mad gaming releases.
@Grot If I had to judge on my own personal feeling, it would be a D+/C- because AC:Valhalla looked more interesting and something I will probably buy at some point. FC6 didn't tell me enough to warrant purchasing yet - a CGI trailer doesn't sell me the game at all.
However, as an Ubisoft event, it was a B - nothing that you wouldn't expect from a Ubisoft E3 presentation and you would expect all the games shown to be a 'B' too so whether I would buy them or not, the overall presentation was a B - pretty much what you would have expected before hand. It was 'underwhelming' in the sense we didn't get anything we didn't know about - although the leaks affects that - so it would have been an A if they brought a few big surprises to the show.
I was trying to look at it objectively, from the perspective of an average Ubisoft presentation rather than from the perspective of 'what is Ubisoft making for ME, how many games will I buy?'
@xMightyMatt14x I feel the same and I also rated it B.
@TimG13 I agree, I think that Assassin's Creed will perform well along Cyberpunk and AC is as evergreen as Mario but Watch Dogs... Not so many Watch Dogs fans, it should be released next year in a quiet month.
@Dezzy70 They can't reveal Series X launch date and that's why Ubisoft is ambiguous about the Series X versions release dates.
I gave it a D.
Not having any surprises & no Beyond Good & Evil 2 was very disappointing.
That said.....I’ll probably get AC & Far Cry at some point.
Oh and still no Splinter Cell?!! Ugh!
@BlueOcean
All they have to say is that the Series X version update will be available on realise of the series x console. No date is required.
Instead they put coming soon, which will probably mean after the series X is released. This is what is happening with Cyber2077.
The proper next gen update for Cyber2077 is in 2021, so way after release.
