According to a report from WinFuture, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G might be something of an 'Xbox smartphone', featuring a close partnership with Project xCloud (thanks The Verge).
The report notes that the phone, which is expected to launch on August 5th at the next Samsung Unpacked event, will be the first smartphone to highlight the optimisation for game usage via online Project xCloud game streaming as part of a cooperation with Microsoft.
Here are some images of the phone that leaked earlier this month:
Just last week, Microsoft revealed that the game streaming service would be coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers at no extra charge in September, but Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said the team will speak more specifically about which mobile devices will be supported over the next couple of months.

Xcloud works well enough but playing on a phone will never really be my thing. If they can get it on iPad, then I'll be a lot more interested.
I'm mostly more excited to see when they bring the service to PCs and the Xbox console itself. That's when Xcloud really has the potential to take off imo.
Yes baby bring it on.
I have a 5G S20 Ultra and I wouldn't even waste minutes trying xcloud even once.
Had my eye on this phone so this would be great if true!
@Menchi what makes you say that? It's a good service in my experience
@redd214 I have zero interest in cloud streaming a game, especially onto a phone.
@Menchi It doesnât matter what you think cuz Phil has already said cloud gaming will never replace local gaming but itâs an add-on for those who want to try it.....like in lot of other markets where smartphone gaming is huge.
@Z3u5000 And I don't want to try it. Which is why I don't care for it on my phone or even have access to it.
Not surprised, Microsoft and Samsung have worked together for years now, bundling apps like office and One Drive, even including special trial windows. This just sounds natural to me.
@roe I received a survey from Microsoft that asked me if I would be interested in xCloud on PC browsers and I said... yes.
@Z3u5000 Yes, xCloud is going to be a huge thing in Asia.
@Menchi Then why do you read this and post?
@BlueOcean Market perception and feedback
@Menchi Cool.
