Bungie has announced the next chapter of Destiny 2 in a livestream, revealing that an expansion called Beyond Light is coming to the game on September 22.
The new expansion will focus on the destination of Europa - moon of Jupiter - and will bring back the elusive Exo Stranger from the first game in the series. It will also feature a new elemental power called Stasis, with Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters all said to wield the power in a different way.
Additionally, the company revealed two more expansions in The Witch Queen and Lightfall, scheduled for 2021 and 2022 respectively. It was later announced that Destiny 2 will support 4K resolution and 60fps on Xbox Series X, complete with free Smart Delivery upgrades and cross-play within the Xbox eco system.
