Update: Digital pre-orders are now available! You can purchase Aftermath and the Aftermath Kollection right now over at the Microsoft Store.
Original Story: An expansion for Mortal Kombat 11 has been announced in the form of Aftermath, which includes an all-new cinematic narrative featuring the first appearance in the franchise for iconic cyborg law enforcer Robocop, complete with the voice and likeness of original RoboCop actor Peter Weller.
The epic saga continues in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, as Fire God Liu Kang, the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, must now enlist the help of unlikely allies and familiar foes to forge a new history as the fate of two worlds hang in the balance.
Adding to the growing roster of playable fighters, the new expansion features the triumphant return of Fujin, the God of Wind who serves as Earthrealm’s protector alongside his brother Raiden, and Sheeva, the four-armed, half-human and half-dragon queen of the ancient Shokan race.
More content is also been added in the form of a simultaneous free update for existing Mortal Kombat 11 owners, including new Stages and Stage Fatalities, as well as the classic Friendships feature, allowing players to "take down their adversaries with a hint of kindness."
The expansion will cost £34.99/$39.99 when it releases on May 26th, but there's also a DLC bundle with Kombat Pack 1 available for £39.99/$49.99, and a complete collection featuring the game and all DLC for £49.99/$59.99. Additionally, everyone who pre-orders Aftermath will get a special skin pack with outfits for Frost, Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

Mortal Kombat is the only fighting game franchise I am interested in these days & putting Robocop into it just seems fitting to me.
