We've already heard how Xbox is "actively monitoring performance and usage trends" in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, and apparently, this includes restrictions on upload content. According to the Xbox Support beta site, users can no longer upload content such as custom gamerpics for the time being.
The site, which also indicates that refund processing is presently delayed by potentially "72 hours or more", says the following upload features have been temporarily removed:
"As people look to gaming for social connection, we're seeing record numbers across Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live, and Mixer. To streamline moderation and ensure the best experience for our community, we're making small adjustments. We've temporarily turned off the ability to upload custom gamerpics, club pics, and club backgrounds."
It's worth noting that not everything is affected - you can still upload game clips, for example. But if you were hoping to change your gamerpic in the near future, you'll face some restrictions for now.
Have you run into any issues with uploading content on Xbox recently? Let us know in the comments.

This is bogus. Not like most people are affected by these restrictions but ISP's keep saying they can handle the extra load. And they should be considering how much people pay for internet access and decent speeds. Such is life
I've seen reports of internet traffic being up by 20% or more. I'm sure companies had some breathing room in place but a jump of 20% is probably more than they had planned for.
