Turtle Beach has released a new firmware update for their Elite 800X Wireless Headset for Xbox One which should alleviate a few of the common problems reported by early adopters.
The new firmware brings with it a whole bunch of improvements, such as automatic gain control for the microphone, stability updates, a few tweaks to the headset's Active Noise Cancellation feature, improved mic performance, and compatibility wit the newer releases of the Android Audio Hub.
You can install the latest version by firing up the Ear Force Audio Hub. If you haven't got that installed yet, head over to the Turtle Beach site to grab it.

A buddy of mine has the newer controller model with the headphone jack in it, but when he plugs in his mic it's really quite and useless, and with no apparent way to change the volume it defeats the entire purpose. Are we just missing something how to change the volume or can it simply not be changed?
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi If you go to Settings > Devices & Accessories, you should be able to alter volumes in there.
Wish they just added bluetooth support. Just bought a pair of Beats Studio Wireless and i cant even use the mic thats built in even when wired. Have a new controller with the jack built in. Still had to get the stereo headset adapter to adjust the audio with ease.
