Quickfire Games and SOEDESCO have confirmed that they'll be releasing their farming and life sim Wild Season on Xbox One in 2015.
Inspired by the likes of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, the game starts off with you taking over a decrepit farm in a far away town, with the goal being to turn it into the best farm in the area. Not only that, but along the way you'll need to find friends (and maybe even a husband or wife) and defeat enemies, potentially "discovering the meaning of true evil" as you do so.
Dog and horse racing will be on offer, as well as the ability to turn politician and help to shape the direction of the town. Make no mistake though, Wild Season is being pitched as a "farming and life sim for a more mature audience" and has indeed been given a PEGI 12+ rating in Europe.
Wild Season will launch on Xbox One later in 2015.

This looks very interesting, I hope it pans out
Hmm, as of late I have been wanting a console based Harvest Moon experience for quite a while. It's ironic that each of the games have since been coming on the handhelds only.
So this does intrigue me, but for now, only intrigues me. I'll keep an eye on Wild Season just in case.
