After last week's next Xbox rumours comes another set from Eurogamer, this time focusing on the upgraded Kinect said to come with every machine.
Anonymous sources have apparently told Eurogamer Kinect 2 is capable of lip reading, and can detect emotion in the user's voice. Eurogamer also claims the next Kinect can "determine in which direction [users] are facing," which sounds like something the current Kinect can do, unless we're missing something.
We already know that Kinect is limited by Xbox 360's USB bandwidth, so this increased accuracy could be offered by something as simple as a faster USB connection.
What do you think Kinect 2 will offer over and above its current incarnation?

Reading emotions isn't really THAT scary. What will be REALLY scary is when Kinect starts talking back to you. Maybe it's time to dust off the Milo project?
So the new xbox might have usb 3 I guess. Either that or kinect will actually be built in to the console, but that would be a bit limiting in terms of where you could position it.
this is not cool kinect 2 no instead of that make a update to kinect 1 kinect 2 for free or money
and if it come out then i must buy a kinect 2 for even more money
If you get it "free" with the next console fair enough, but I can't see much improvement with the quality of the games just because it can do this.
