Some good ones in there. I hate when there's way too many options so you just end up buying none 🤣
It’s not under Deals and I also don’t see a Specials section in the store on my Series X…
Deluxe edition of Alan Wake 2 at £32 is a great deal!
@Darude84 If you go to the "Deals" section, scroll down until you reach "Xbox games specials". Everything will be listed in there.
They'll have a dedicated Black Friday section soon as well, we've just beaten Microsoft to it with this roundup
Nothing on here for me but thats fine knowing Stalkwrv2, Flight Sim 24 and Indy is around the corner. If Infinite Wealth gets a good price drop I might bite!
Anyone know how long this sale runs? Unless I missed it but I double checked to be sure
I say it every big sale and by god I’m gonna say it again, these sales are not what they used to be. None of the things I really wanted to see in my 80+ wishlist are on sale… Again 🫠 they sometimes do in random sales I don’t budget for. But not the big ones I know are coming.
@Elbow I think it's technically December 2nd, but they might advertise it as November 30th or December 1st.
@Elbow 18 days I think it said
No Baldur's Gate 3? That's nuts, considering it's been quite a while since it released...
None of my price checkers went off, so everything I'm after is presumably the same price it's been every sale seemingly the past 3 years.
Some more highlights:
Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy (70%)
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection (67%)
Doom + Doom II (60%)
Sonic Superstars (70%)
Quake II (60%)
Hogwarts Legacy + Quidditch Champions Deluxe bundle (60%)
Immortals Fenyx Rising (80%)
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition (this is the Series X|S version, 60%)
Trials of Mana (remake, 60%)
Death Stranding Director's Cut (50%, 7 days left)
I already bought Death Stranding DC for the household.
Why is the MSRP at $40 on Xbox while it's still at $50 on PSN?
Getting Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and Tomb Raider Remastered.
@cardcrusher29 There was a thing a few years back about the Switch tax. Maybe there is now a PlayStation tax.
@FraserG That section isn’t available in my region (Netherlands) I guess, I don’t see it. But in the meantime the BF section has shown up on the homepage Thanks!
@Darude84 Ah, apologies! I'm glad it's shown up now anyway
If anyone's wondering why Death Stranding isn't in the roundup here, it's because it's not technically part of the Black Friday sale - it's a separate discount that arrived alongside the surprise Xbox launch.
If you want to grab DS, don't wait around until the end of November - the discount only lasts for another week.
Alan Wake Remastered is on sale for 75% off for £6.24 which is good as I've been wanting to get that for a while now. I can finally see what the fuss is all about. I hope it's not too spooky though.
Ignore the sales. Purchase games when you want to play them. Don’t stock up and don't buy something new if you have something unfinished. Games will be more fun for it.
None of the about to be delisted Sega titles in the sale which is disappointing.
@Benjamin this. 100%. having done this, it now stresses me out how many unplayed games I have.
@FraserG Definitely no need for that, I appreciate the help
These sales blow. There are only a few things on my wish list that are on sale and they are priced at the exact same prices they were last time they went on sale.
Always feel a bit deflated when there's a big sale on and when you go to look at it the majority of the games seem to be the best part of fifty quid. Mass Effect Legendary at that price seems a good idea to add to the backlog though.
@FraserG @Beetlebum91
Thank you! I wasn't home yesterday and had limited mobile access so I had a mini panic of "uh oh how long do I have??"
Much appreciated. Thank you both again!
Already got DS3/alan wake 2 deluxe and RE 4 gold edition. Solid discounts.
@Benjamin the problem with that is that you can only spend your money once..
@Stephan123 But you can spend it once, over and over again, without playing the things you’ve bought. Buying multiple things in a sale is rarely a money saver. Buying something for full price when motivated to play it leads to less purchases and more fulfilling game time.
@Benjamin never thought of the sales that way but like your idea. Might get me to actually buy stuff I want that never goes on sale.
If you’re on the fence about Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate before it is delisted, it is still cheaper on CDkeys at £12.99 (for uk obviously)
I think Teardown is part of this sale? I finally got around to trying it on PS Plus Extra last night a couple of days before the damn thing leaves there and loved it! Serves me right for keep putting off trying new games out. It's dear on PlayStation but the various editions are on sale right now on Xbox and the Ultimate Edition is the cheapest of all versions.
@Benjamin Nah, I'm good.
