Update: Since we first published this guide, Microsoft Rewards has also added a new "Season of Xbox" punch card for 150 points, along with an "Xbox Series S Gilded Hunter Bundle" punch card for 50 points and a Game Awards 2022 punch card for 50 points.
Both of the first two punch cards expire on December 19th, with the first requiring you to earn an achievement in the "Season of Xbox" collection, and the latter simply requiring you to follow a few links to different Microsoft Store pages.
The Game Awards 2022 punch card expires on December 18th, and again just requires hitting a few links.
Original story: It's that time again! We're big fans of the Microsoft Rewards program here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.
December 2022's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few easy requirements by December 15th, you can top up your account by another 2000 points (around £2 / $2).
You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Complete a Microsoft Bing search on five separate days
- Complete 3 "daily sets" (accessible via Microsoft Bing)
- Earn 3 achievements in Xbox One / Series X / Series S games
- Complete a weekly set
As a bonus, if you log into the Microsoft Rewards dashboard on a browser, some regions will find a "Christmas" punch card for 150 points, and there's also a new punch card on console called "Xbox Game Pass Games to Play Together" in which you can get 500 points for completing one achievement in one of a few specific titles.
If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more.
Note: Not available in all regions. Full regional details have not been provided by Microsoft.

Anyone that doesn't do the rewards points doesn't realize how easy it is. It takes me about 3-4 min a day to do all the daily ones and I get 4-5 100$ gift cards a year. It's well worth it. I don't even do all the game related gamepass ones unless it's something I was planning on playing.
Don't know what is up with Rewards for me as its not tracking any achievements I have unlocked - was on a 47 week streak with the weekly set and could not unlock it as my achievements were not recognised; dailies are not tracking, and the specials or monthlies are not picking up the achievements either
Rewards Support asked me to upload a video of the problem, but how do you do that when something is not happening??
Getting points for everything else, so it doesn't look like I have maxxed out the annual allowance
Deleted the app & tried on different consoles & same results
Very frustrating as so many points going to waste !!
Since only realising this year I can get free ultimate I've been grinding everyday for points, including on the website through the xbox browser for the extra 5 or 10 point clicks. Not paid for online in three months. Can't wait until I have enough points for three months as I have slightly more points left than the previous month after redeeming free Ultimate.
@JON22 do you do the 40 points a day exercise videos? Not a lot of ppl know about them
@Martsmall Didn't know about them lol. Are they just click and get points? I get all my exercise from stress, anxiety, cleaning job and walking my dogs and hate exercising.
Edit:Oh, where they at?
Yeh u just click the videos ranging from 16 seconds to 8 mins 45 ,click the video put it in desktop mode if using on phone and let the video finish and done , u can do 2 a day at 20 points each and they refresh each 10 days I think so u can do the shortest ones again

@FreqMode I think I gained well over $100 in rewards in about 4-5 months and I just do the phone stuff while I’m on the toilet lol. I only do the Xbox stuff at the beginning of each month when they have these 2000+ point bonuses and even then it takes like 5 minutes. Totally worth.
Would be great if it actually tracked Bing searches, sometimes it tracks a couple but most of the time it tracks none 😖
