It's that time again! We're big fans of the Microsoft Rewards program here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.
August 2023's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few requirements by August 31st, you can top up your account by another 1000 points (around £1 / $1).
You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Search Bing on any device for 5 days
- Complete 3 daily sets
- Complete 2 weekly sets
If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more.
Note: Not available in all regions. Full regional details have not been provided by Microsoft.

And for all the talk of MS cutting down on what you can earn from Rewards I'm pretty sure I'm getting as much as I always have.
It does appear that it’s going to be 1000 points moving forward instead of the 2000 it was.
I'm assuming customers are not able to redeem reward points for Game Pass Ultimate currently because of the price increase, is there any news on if/when this will be reinstated?
@Cacky_Raphael I was just going to post asking the same, seems to have been unavailable for a while now
@Cacky_Raphael they did reinstate it for a few hours but it turned out that they accidentally loaded 3 month codes for the price of one month. Hasn't been up since they took it down again. I have points ready to go for more GPU time so hopefully it's reinstated at some point. I have over 2 years stacked but would like to just keep it going.
Slightly off topic - but has anyone else had problems this month for auto-redeem? I’m comfortably past the 5500 points needed for a fiver credit but auto redeem hasn’t worked. It simply says I’ve (already) met the target for September (next redemption 31 days from now)…
…help!

Auto redeem works on a monthly basis, therefore once a month.
Easy just to manually redeem yourself whenever you want to.
@Feffster I just got my email for the one month GPU code and my buddy got his like 5 hours ago. So it's all going to be processed today just give it some time.
@Para1966 @Krzzystuff - thanks both. I was a bit too eager - it has now been redeemed.
The daily sets for this aren't registering for me says I've only completed one of three but I've done about 6.
