Last week, Xbox UK invited us to a special event to celebrate the launch of Forza Horizon 6, and so I decided to head over to Caffeine & Machine in Stratford-upon-Avon to see what kind of surprises they had in store.
The event was open to the public (it was on Saturday), and so there was a nice buzz about the place — lots of people enjoying the game, photographing cars, having a drink-or-two and just embracing the vibe. In terms of Forza Horizon 6, there were stations set up in multiple places, spanning everything from just standard TVs with controllers to high-spec simulator rigs. All of these proved really popular, and the general feeling seemed to be that FH6 was a fantastic game, even amongst those who weren't really there for the gaming side of things.
Beyond that, there were loads of cars to check out and photograph (including the FH6 cover car), a dedicated section for Japanese street food and even Japanese candy, plenty of places to grab a drink, a live DJ, and a special Japanese driving test with its own dedicated mini-course.
If you're interested in all of this and thinking "agh, I wish I'd have known about that", you might be in luck — something very similar is happening at the British Motor Museum this weekend on Saturday, May 23rd.
This is known as Forza Horizon 6: The Experience Launch Event, featuring lots of similar activities along with a few more things such as coding workshops and a drift stunt show. You're looking at paying £18 if you want to go to this one (while tickets last), and it's based in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Should be a good time!
I'll leave you with some of the images I snapped from the Caffeine & Machine event down below, and please do get in touch if you either went to this event, or you're going to the one next Saturday. It's great to see Xbox partnering up for stuff like this, and to be honest we'd love to see it happening more regularly!

Looks like a good time I'm jealous.
Basically the same set up as the game looking forward to playing it tomorrow!
A couple of sim racing streamers I follow went to this and it looks like it was a good time for everyone involved.
Xbox are really ramping up the FH6 promotional stuff. Its good to see this sort of stuff to be honest as it shows a commitment to the brand.
Did they say they are planning to do any more cars and coffee meets, especially in the states?
@racerXplayer This event was organised specifically by Xbox UK, so I'm not aware what the plans are for US folk.
The only other event I'm personally aware of is the one at the British Motor Museum on Saturday. There might be others though!
