Very weird that the 2nd half of June Game Pass games haven't been announced yet.
GamePass additions are terrible but looking forward to Fall Guys
Looking forward to the Shadowrun games and giving Nakara Bladepoint a try! Plus I’m still digging into the surprise release of Omori, which I had been interested in. Thanks GamePass!
Anyone who had GP should try the Shadowrun games. They’re outstanding so to get all three of them on GP is awesome.
@Kaloudz But it's the first time that the remakes of these 4-5 are available on console plus the extra content. I pre-ordered it and can't wait. On the other hand, I still have my doubts about Sonic Frontiers although I try to be positive and open-minded.
I’m excited for Fall Guys, TNMT Shredder’s Revenge, and FIFA 22. Also just downloaded Tetris Effect… and that’s all only on my XBOX! I have more than enough to play for a while.
@Kaloudz They are timeless, infinitely replayable games and having remakes on console for the first time, widescreen, not emulated, is awesome 😁.
The thing I don't get about Sonic Frontiers is that it doesn't look like Sonic. Three elements that define Sonic are the environment art style, the music and the animals/victims and I don't see anything. The only thing I see that works fine is the camera (that is usually a mess in Sonic 3D games) and controls seem decent. I know that since Sonic Adventure, there are realistic cities with hamburger joints and people wearing suits but I was hoping that, for once, Sonic would be wild but still Sonic, with coloured environment, flowers dancing, robots, animals and a cool soundtrack, everything in 3D and, why not, a Chao raising mode.
More like Fall GuyZzzzzzzzz.
@Awp69 and @BBB I'm interested in the Shadowrun trilogy games, do you need to play them in a certain order and of not which is the best one to play? Thanks
@Kaloudz Yep, I know what you mean and I spent some time with the Chao garden in Sonic Adventure DX 😂😅. You seem to be a big Sonic fan as well. I haven't played all the 3D ones but my favourite is Generations (Xbox 360, 4K60fps on Series X) and my favourite Sonic 2D game is Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles 👍.
@NickramCTID They’re all good and there’s only probably small references to each other. Otherwise they are standalone. I’d probably start with Returns.
@Grumblevolcano Not sure I’d even expect too much else to be announced for GamePass. Just in day one games in the second half of June we’ve had:
6/16 - Shredder’s Revenge (normally $25)
6/17 - Omori ($30)
6/21 - Shadowrun Trilogy ($40)
6/24 - Nakara Bladepoint ($20)
Plus FIFA 22 in the mix. But we’ll see.
Don't get too excited about Fall Guys ppl, the fun doesn't last long.
@Kaloudz I had the SNES and not the Mega Drive. I played Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles on my father's PC and then on GameCube (emulated version included in Sonic Mega Collection). But yes, Sonic & Knuckles was a cartridge that could be combined with other Sonic cartridges to play as Knuckles. You could play Sonic 2 and 3 as Knuckles.
Did you like Sonic Forces? I was so disappointed with it but I'm glad that at least one of us enjoyed it 😅😁.
Sonic origins is pick of the bunch for me.
Im not normally big on playing retro, but for some reason its appealing atm and I was playing capcom arcade stadium for hours last night!
So, the classic sonic stuff appeals and im still wotrking through LIS true colours and Ghostwire, so im happy enough this month!
This week is busy for me with both Sonic Origins and the Ai Somnium Files sequel, and Naraka Bladepoint if I feel like squeezing in the time. I'm not feeling the barren desert of releases this year others seem to. And then Soul Hackers 2 is a bit farther away...
