The first week of the year is always a challenging one when you're back to work or school, but it's finally over now (for some of us at least)! We've got a couple of days to kick back and relax with some Xbox games, including some recent Xbox Game Pass additions along with a great new "Last Chance" sale on the Xbox Store.
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

All I want to do is play Baldur's Gate 3 at the moment, but I'm too nervous to go anywhere near it until the issue with deleted save games is 100% fixed. It's incredible, but I don't think I'd go back to it if I lost over 10 hours of progress.
Perhaps this is a good opportunity for me to try Hell Let Loose on Xbox Game Pass for the first time, as well as dig into my backlog to keep progressing through the likes of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. I've also been eyeing up Disco Elysium in the Xbox Sale, so I might end up buying that!
Have a good weekend, folks.

I’m anticipating a bit of a quieter year for Xbox after a stellar 2023 (but by all means Microsoft go off!) so I’ve got a plan to dive into older Xbox games and franchises I haven’t touched before. First on my list of games to play is Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. I’ve heard a lot about how great it is, so I guess I’m gonna mess around and find out this weekend.
Normally, I’m not much of a CoD bro (and I’d still say I’m not) but I find myself squadding up with a friend to drop into Call of Duty Modern Warfare III’s Zombie mode a fair bit. I didn’t play MWII, so I’m not sure if it influences the enjoyment factor of the Warzone open-world direction Zombies has gone in, but either way I’m having a lot of fun chilling out and popping zombles.
Oh, I’m also playing the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for review footage this weekend. So I’m keen to get my hands on that!
Happy gaming, PX Gang!

I played a bit of Assassin’s Creed Mirage shortly after Christmas, and oh dear, I really didn’t enjoy it. I’ve played every mainline Assassin’s Creed game and I absolutely adore the franchise, but I felt like Ubisoft dropped the ball with this one. So, I went back and booted up The Ezio Collection to replay Assassin’s Creed II. Man, that’s a good one. Venice, here I come.
