What a busy week it's been! With the Xbox Developer Direct now in the books, it's time to enjoy playing some games over the next couple of days, including some major Xbox Game Pass additions, more Xbox Free Play Days offerings, and over 600 games on sale as part of multiple offers on the Xbox Store.
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

The time I was able to spend with Palworld before its Xbox Game Pass release was strictly limited to the PC version, so I'm looking forward to starting again on console this weekend. While it's definitely not perfect in its early access state, it has a charm that's hooked me over the past week, and hopefully it'll only continue to improve.
I've finally started to sink my teeth into Red Dead Redemption 2 as well, and I'm glad I'm finally spending some quality time with it. The story isn't gripping me as much as GTA V's did yet, but it's still very early days and I'm interested to see how it evolves. I can't believe it's taken this long to actually give this game some proper attention!
Have a good weekend, folks.

Looks like the globe’s gone mad for Palworld considering it launched on Xbox and PC yesterday. It's safe to say I’ll be hopping on the bandwagon for this one. Having played an early Steam build of the game It looks like I'll be starting from scratch now it’s on Xbox and PC Game Pass - thankfully the achievements are worth 100 Gamerscore a piece!
I’ve also caved on my urge to play Hell Let Loose since it’s on Game Pass nowadays. I think playing it serves as penance for all the adorable Pals I’ve butchered into tasty kebabs. I’d love to play with a squad soon, although I’m not sure many fancy the idea of joining me in catching bullets all game and calling it “fun”.
Happy gaming, folks!
