It was good, nice list of backwards compatibility and Halo Multiplayer. Just waiting for that to update.
If you're a halo fan then it was a pretty good show but since I don't like halo it's a D from me. Hope those who do like halo enjoyed it though and enjoy the multiplayer beta
Nothing higher than an A Fraser?? Haha
It was a great trip down memory lane for me as I was there 20 years ago day one.
Really enjoyed, about the length, compact and very good.
Also who can argue with 73 new backwards compatibility games.
I'd say a B overall. It was a bit short as I would've liked some Game Pass announcements as well but the pacing was excellent, great mix of people talking and announcements.
it was..fine. Microsoft DID say not to expect any huge announcements, so, they delivered lol
It was great! Just what I wanted. A celebration of their past, great production values, some back compat + FPS boosted games and… one last thing. I have zero interest in Halo multiplayer but that was a mic drop moment. Sad, as is seemingly always the case nowadays, it was leaked ahead of time.
Looking forward to the documentary
@Zag_Man agreed!
I ranked it A. A cool celebration of 20 years of Xbox as well as some big reveals (more backwards compatibility titles, Halo Infinite multiplayer shadow drop).
BC was a little bit quantity over quality (but maybe I'm just disappointed because the games I wanted weren't on the list... I appreciate there are a few popular choices on there).
FPS boosts are nice.
Looking forward to the Xbox documentary.
Could have done without the Rock blathering on about his crappy new film.
Can't believe they announced Halo beta available to download and they didn't have it ready in the store to install... bit of an amateur fumble there. Not a huge deal... I am happy enough to wait, but it's not a good look. (EDIT: download became available for me at about 7.30pm UK time, so at least the problem didn't last too long).
Anyway, I'm happy enough playing FH5 tonight and I've just found that Amazon Music (beta) is available, so I can play my tunes in the background (finally!).
Happy days!
Ngl. I got a little emotional when the old clips started rolling. It was like a trip down memory lane for me. I’ve been team Xbox from the start through the highs and the lows and am just proud of where they are and where they’re headed. Here’s to another 20 years of Xbox gaming! 💚💚
@Kingleo31 I too was emotional. When they were showing people meet up with their online friends really got to me. Games for me are all about friends, family and community and Xbox highlighted this really well. The BC games were great. I'm super excited for Skate 2. The Infine multiplayer drop, although spoiled, was still amazing to see the whole team at 343 there celebrating. Xbox has really done a great job at showing the love the developers have towards gaming. Here is to another 20+.
A, but dropped it down to a B for the Red Notice commercial...
C - was more like a corporate slick investors videos. Left me cold.
But BC stuff amazing and halo too but they need a new communication team
I give it an A. Some of the clips of the Halo LAN parties really hit me in the feels. The start of my console gaming. Nice BC and FPS Boost announcement. No one can complain with the Halo shadow drop whether you like the game or not. The new documentary looks cool.
The only negative was that lame advert in the middle, p****d me right off.
I graded it an A, I thought it was a fun celebration and we got Halo Infinite MP. I'm not good at it yet but I liked what I played.
Also, the Rock appearing was perfectly goofy. Such a likable seeming guy.
