Poll: How Would You Grade Ubisoft Forward 2023?

That was not an A or a B, but I suspect some will try to make it outvote xbox haha. Not all, some will genuinely like it, but er I doubt the majority will

I was kinda hoping for a Immortals Fenyx Rising 2 announcement so was a bit disappointed that didn't happen, but they showed some decent gameplay and they have some huge games. If they get these games right then this could be a huge turn around for ubisoft.

Overall for me it was a B, now onto Capgod and hopefully Nintendo at some point.

Maybe it’s because I went in expecting very little but I thought it was great. Avatar looks decent. Star Wars Outlaws, barring the AI, looks like it has a lot of potential. The Crew MotorSport taking place in Oahu is awesome. Assassin’s Creed Mirage looked like a surprisingly solid return to form after the previous few entries. I even thought Prince of Persia looked like a fun 2D-combat platformer.

I didn’t care at all about the anime or the Skull and Bones song but everything around it was… surprisingly solid imo.

Nice looking games but could have been 30 minutes without all the needless talking.

Oh and are they trolling us with Skull & Bones at this point? 🤣

C. Lots of gameplay which is great but most games were passes for me. Way too much filler and talking but Ubi is gonna Ubi. The Crew is a definite buy and I'm sure I'll spring for Outlaws sometime in the future. Not a total bust but definitely behind SGF

No release date for Beyond Good & Evil 2, which we were all expecting. BUT, that Skull & Bones song slapped.

@Zoidpilot4 you know not everything is a conspiracy? Most people will vote A or B because that is what they think, not because they have a desire for it to beat Xbox's presentation.

For me a C :

• Too much fluff and filler
• AC Mirage Looked decent as something I'd pick up on sale
• Star Wars gameplay was one of the strongest gameplay showings of the season apart from Starfield. On my radar.

Interested in pretty much all the games. Very good presentation for me. This, along with the Xbox presentation, has me very excited for the next few years of gaming.

Not anything I didn’t know already… hoping next year they will relent and get onto the Gamepass sub. Just reinforces that making AAA games is really a long process for any company….

B+ i am only comparing it to past ubisoft shows. It's not really fair to compare to the shows that draw from many publishers to fill out their show. Ubisoft did a good job highlighting what they have coming anfld its a decent lineup.

Here's hoping Ubi delivers - I'm into most of what they're selling here.

Wow. This was a solid B which is pretty impressive given it is Ubisoft we are talking about here. On par with the XBOX showing.

In total, everything that has been revealed in the last couple of weeks has me really excited. I haven't had this much to look forward to in a long time.

star wars outlaws looked and ran better than starfield.

@UltimateOtaku91 Capcom just did a collab with MS and there isn't any real mention of the showcase, coming on in mere minutes, this website. Goofy.

A 'B' as it had more games than I expected to want from Ubisoft - great for Ubisoft+ members I guess, but I'll be waiting until they are half the price or less in a few months after.

Games like SW:O, AC:M and Avatar are games I'm likely to play at some point but the rest don't appeal enough to part cash on to mre. I didn't watch the show itself - sounds like I missed the filler/awkward bits...

@Cashews Yeah that is strange, especially even more so when Exoprimal is going to be shown some more and it's a gamepass game.

Pushsqaure were the same today though, took them over 12 hours to announce the Final Fantasy 16 demo yet usually they are all over that game in a flash.

For me it was a C, sometimes moving towards a D. The stage and presentation looked like it was an indie publisher. Meanwhile, the Avatar game grabbed my interest more than I expected. Despite the fact that it is probably just Far Cry: Pandora.
The SW game had a great showing and looks good to pickup on one of those sub-20-euro sales Ubi does after 1.5-2 years. Specially given how burnt-out I am on SW.

No Rayman sigh staying a cameo of course. No Beyond Good and Evil 2 even what was the status on it???? No Red Steel VR 'ever' because that will never happen but I want to always think about it being possible. XD

Other than the The Crew just 'competing with Forza Horizon and NFS' I am just curious what they do in response otherwise not my kind of racing game at all (not into open world racing or otherwise).

Also why VR on Occulus why have a PSVR2 if no big devs will use it. Oh the hardware, oh the devkits oh the userbase what is the issue with big devs not using it I want to know why?

Skull and Bones is still alive and do people actually care still? Like I know they can fix things but I don't know. I am optimistic of course and I thought the idea was fine enough even if some limits and distinction from where it started was kind of holding it back, I think it has a place but still.

Outlaws looks good, Avatar looks good. Prince of Persia 2D still good to see what's there still. It will likely be digital only too I bet hence I won't play it then. If is physical I may pick it up depending on the price for cheap. I'm not that big on the series yet only jumped into 2 entries so far.

I haven't cared for modern Ubisoft games at all. I don't play their open worlds. I know people that do but I don't. Mostly buying their legacy game entries these days. Both Red Steel games, a few Prince and Persia even if many to still get there, Vegas 1 I think it was, out of curiosity of that side of shooters I've never experienced, if I ever do Rayman 2 on whichever platform.

@SuntannedDuck2 The psvr2 problem is for Sony to fix not on Ubi. I'm guessing some will get put on Sony headset.

I really liked Far Cry: Pandora. and the star wars game looks decent. we’ll see if it’s on par with the Jedi series
