Simply for Moonlighter 2 (and it coming to Game Pass too) I give the show an A!! Cannot believe we're getting a sequel. Anyone yet to play the first game - it too is on GP and if you like Zelda dungeon-likes, this is right up your street.
Dungeon dive at night, and sell your goods in your own store during the day. Use the money you make to upgrade your character, expand your town (blacksmiths etc...) and go further into the game's dungeon(s). It's super accessible, and super addictive. Can't wait for the sequel. Nice to see we got a shadow drop too. I'll try that out!
Nothing that I was interested in to be honest.
The sheer amount of nothingburger that this had with it was painful. Never mind that I'm salty about IGN reminding me that Mecha Break is slowly getting more and more late on XBOX, and the developers are trying to do damage control over the fact.
I personally was shocked at how good the Game Pass lineup was! Balatro shadow drop and NINE other reveals all for later this year? Very impressive.
@Kaloudz I am also VERY excited for a sequel to Moonlighter. I only heard about it a few days ago, and now it is going to be on GP too. Excellent.
@Kaloudz man you going hard for this game across all articles. Feel like i gotta check it out
@DJKingaling You my man, will not be disappointed. It's an outstanding game that's damn near perfect and I very rarely say that about anything.
@Westernwolf4 Time can't move quick enough. It's gunna be epic. Love the new visual style from the trailer too.
I really enjoyed the first Moonlighter as well and am happy to see the sequel coming to Game Pass.
I rate it P in honour of Lies of P.
E for myself, The only game that really stood out was Blue Prince. Lies of P should be good but I thought the Trailer was very poor.
As for the show it was an awful presentation, the presenters were poor and it just felt like a gloried ad for IGN with the amount of breaks just pushing their services.
Voted a C. It was an ok showcase and yeah a lot is coming to Gamepass, but… would I play any of these games if not for Gamepass? Maybe Moonlighter 2, maybe… I might change my tune once some of these launch though.
Honestly, the Annapurna showcase was a better line-up to me. I practically wanted to play everything that was shown there. To A T looks to be my most anticipated Gamepass title, outside maybe South of Midnight.
Couple interesting ones. But I like the variety. 33 immortals for me. Plus need to play lies of pi asap
No silksong makes me sad
@Cakefish I rate it O in honor of Overture.
Dlc looks sick 😮💨 still wonder what the original tease will be about because I haven't seen anything resembling the story in either trailer now, but I haven't even read the book so what do I know.
~
Glad 33 Immortals got a date, looking forward to that! 33 player co-op boutta go crazy
Looking forwards to return to Savage planet and blue Prince.
Games looked interesting, but I loathed the IGN presentation, just show the games back to back on xbox's own channel and ditch all the IGN nonsense.
I’d love to kno the standards for the people who voted the showcase a D or F…either there trolling or impossible to please
Return savage planet, echo weaver and moonlighter 2 😎 I gave b coz those 1st three I was like sick all on gamepass and at start of show then it kinda dropped off n most stuff after that wernt for me 🤣but those 3 alone made it decent enough 😎
@YeyoFairy I went with E as I mentioned above and was in no way trolling, or impossible to please. I imagine others are the same if the show just did nothing for them. Its not that unusual as indies are generally more hit and miss for people.
For me rating the show as a whole includes rating the hosts, which i though were very poor, they just lacked chemistry. It also means rating the way it was presented and it was a glorified IGN advert with some trailers inbetween, It really didn't need an advert break every 10m just to shill IGN services.
As for the games only two caught my eye. Blue Prince which we saw last week, but i liked how this trailer showed us a bit more. The other game was Lies of P but i think last weeks trailer was far better overall as it showed proper gameplay, this one was just artsy and did nothing for me. The others just did nothing for me either because they are not my style, or i had not played the originals so no hype.
So E seems fair, it did very little that I had not already seen.
