None. They’re all terrible, broken franchises. I am sick of EA robbing gamers.
You forgot Super Mega Baseball.
Love some fifa. Buy it every year but have never spent a penny more so I don't get the hate just because it has that option.
@Kloppo just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean they’re broken. These are some of the most played games on earth. Some of these franchises are maybe older than you. They’re doing something right
@Carck Respect
@Carck they absolutely are broken. Year after year they release the same broken game and never even try to fix them. You’ve obviously never played the likes of Fifa or Nhl because if you did then you would know exactly what I am talking about.
@Kloppo I’ve played Fifa since 95 and NHL since 2000. Also play F1. Love sports and racing games. And they do have issues of course, especially noticeable if you play hundreds of hours every year. But they are far from broken.
Coming from 95 to now has been unreal, the game we have today was only a wet dream back then
@Carck I mean I'm happy you can experience what might've seemed impossible decades ago but to use that as an argument to say these clearly broken games aren't I don't think is right.
I can recognize the fact that they're well made games sure, but at the same time unbelievably broken, which at the least shouldn't be this much of an issue decades down the line.
@Deljo
Depends on whether you play ultimate team or not I suppose.
@Cherip-the-Ripper something can’t be well made and broken at the same time. There’s nothing broken about them. They have some crappy online modes, that doesn’t make a game broken
@Cherip-the-Ripper absolutely, I normally play a little earning the cards in game but with the career, seasons online and whatever the extra mode happens to be (volta seems to be here to stay for now) there's plenty to keep me entertained
FIFA I guess? Not a fan of any, but I don't even know the rules of a few of those sports.
I used to by madden every year. The last two years I have taken a hard pass they have neglected franchise to the point that it is a piss poor showing every year if the NFL actually cared about their fans and a little less about the almighty dollar maybe they would hold EA accountable. Kids shouldn't even be allowed to play these games they have turned into online gambling simulators.
The greatest sport in the world of coarse. Fifa.
@Kloppo wat is broken on Fifa???
This is the first year I've avoided FIFA, and I'm so glad, because the reviews and comments I've seen has backed everything I thought it was going to be.
Personal opinion but FIFA has been broken for a long time. Career mode has had very little changes for around half a decade now, and with plenty of issues, mainly to encourage people to move on to Ultimate Team. Gameplay is the same fast-pace counter attacking style we've seen for years. Ultimate team continues to be Pay-to-win, with the chances of a good pack very slim unless you pay a lot of money.
Whether true or not, there has been plenty of evidence of scripting in the history of it's games, mainly to encourage people to move onto paying to enjoy the games.
@jordan1992 sarcasm, right?
@Kloppo ???
It’s a footie game, nothing too complex, everything works on mine.
@jonnybuck84 i’m the same. Pro Evo pre 11 was the best footie game around. £8 for a memory stick that put all official teams, players, kits, sponsors, balls, boots on and you had the best!!
I don't like Sports games.
Except for SSX
SSX is awesome!
Fifa is OK. Loads of modes and a polished UI.
But as others have mentioned Ultimate team is the defacto career mode. It's great if you don't spend money, but when microtransactions are worth more to EA than selling the actual full priced game. Then somebody is. Its pay to win.
The actual career mode is a joke.
It's a pity EA have monopolised sports games, back in the 16bit days we had loads of great football games. Now it's just EA or 2k with some real bad indy efforts.
F1 is my fav for sure. They're such well made games. FIFA next but haven't played in a year or 2.
FIFA is always a guilty pleasure for me. Even though it's the same thing every year with seemingly random tweaks to make it feel 'new,' I still get my money's worth each year. I've never touched Ultimate Team, I just enjoy seasons and career mode.
I put other because i still play ncaa football
